The new World Trade Center complex, consisting of five new skyscrapers, was originally expected to be completed in time for the 10th anniversary of 9/11, but now building contractors have revised the date to 2015 or even 2016.
On Tuesday New York will honor the memories of the victims of the tragedy of September 11, 2001 for the eleventh time. The events of that day signalled a turning point in U.S. domestic and foreign policy.
Memorial events, in which the families of those that were killed, rescue workers and heroes of those tragic days will participate, will be held at the national memorial, which opened last year in time for the 10th anniversary of the attacks.
