Two Israeli soldiers were seriously wounded in a stabbing attack near a settlement in the northern West Bank on Wednesday. The attacker was killed shortly afterwards.
There has been an increase in the number of stabbings and other lone wolf attacks by Palestinians in the occupied West Bank and east Jerusalem since last summer's 50-day war in the Gaza Strip.
