Moscow will adopt a 'mirror' response if Washington introduces restrictions on Russian diplomats' travel in the United States, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said in an interview with the International Affairs magazine published Monday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — On November 30, the US House of Representatives passed a bill that included a provision, limiting the possibility of the Russian diplomats working in the United States to travel away from their diplomatic missions more than 25 miles (40.23 km) without a preliminary notice.

"If the US lawmakers go ahead with restrictions on normal activities of our diplomatic missions…we will respond in a 'mirror-like' manner, regardless of which administration is holding office there," Ryabkov stressed.
