"On 18 March 2022, the Government released the first tranche of targets covered by new sanctions developed under the Russia Sanctions Act 2022 following Russia’s illegal invasion of Ukraine. No details of the evacuation have been disclosed.
On Wednesday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that 116 Turkish citizens were still in Mariupol. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan later expressed gratitude to Russian President Vladimir Putin for the evacuation of Turkish citizens from Ukraine.
The decision has been made over the Russian military operation in Ukraine.

The House passed the the Suspending Normal Trade Relations with Russia and Belarus Act in a final vote of 424-8.The legislation will now head to the Senate for consideration.
Eight Republican congresspeople voted against the measure, including Andy Biggs, Dan Bishop, Lauren Boebert, Matt Gaetz, Marjorie Greene, Glenn Grothman, Thomas Massie, and Chip Roy.
