
"An air raid alert has been announced in Kiev," the administration of Kiev wrote on Telegram.
The previous air raid alert sounded in Kiev in the early hours of Wednesday.
Ukrainian news agency UNIAN reported on Wednesday evening that explosions were heard in the Zhytomir region, which is located around 140 kilometers west of Kiev, giving no further details.
This is already the third consecutive morning that air raid alerts go off in various parts of Ukraine. On Monday, Russia carried out strikes against infrastructure supporting the Ukrainian military, including facilities related to energy and connectivity. Russian President Vladimir Putin said it was because Moscow could not leave Kiev's crimes committed against the Russian civilian infrastructure without response, meaning primarily the explosion on the Crimean bridge.
"We saw some additional countries volunteer to provide munitions for the those NASAMS systems today," Austin said after the sixth Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting in Brussels.
The White House said on Tuesday that the first two NASAMS systems are expected to arrive in Ukraine in the very near future.
"We know that Ukraine still needs even more long-range fires, air defense systems and artillery systems, along with other crucial capabilities," Austin said during a press conference following a meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group.
"What Ukraine is asking for and what we think can be provided is an integrated air missile defense system," Milley said after the sixth Ukraine Defense Contact Group meeting concluded in Brussels.
"At today’s meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group (UDCG) in Brussels, Belgium, Defense Minister Anita Anand announced that Canada will provide over $47 million in new military aid to assist Ukraine as it fights for its sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity," the National Defense Department said in a statement.
The package includes $11 million in 155mm artillery rounds and related equipment, $11 million in specialized drone cameras and $10.8 million in winter clothing, the statement said.
"We're not planning to implement secondary sanctions because we do not think that they're needed,” Adeyemo said at the Columbia Global Energy Summit in Washington. “Ultimately, the thing we are working towards is creating economic incentives for all parties to be in a position where you are continuing to allow oil to flow [while] bringing down the costs for buyers and revenue for Russia, which we think economically makes sense for all players here."

"IRIS-Ts from Germany are already here. US NASAMS are coming. This is only the beginning. And we need more," Ukrainian Defense Minister Oleksi Reznikov tweeted.

There were no traces of the work of the anti-missile defense systems in the sky above the city, the correspondent reported.
There is no official information about the work of the air defense systems so far.
