Public Transport in Sochi Launches Non-Cash Payment Ahead of the World Cup

At least 102 municipal busses in Sochi will accept non-cash payments for travel.

Ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup, a non-cash payment system was launched in the Russian city of Sochi. Visitors of the city are able to buy tickets with credit cards on 102 municipal buses.

Russia will host the FIFA World Cup for the first time in its history from June 14 to July 15. Games of the tournament will be held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Saransk, Kaliningrad, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Volgograd, and Samara.
