Tens of thousands of starlings have taken over an entire road on a dark and snowy day, creating a surreal moment similar to the Alfred Hitchcock movie.

The video was filmed by Andrew Waddison, 37, who was caught in the middle of the storm known as "the beast from the East." The man was driving in Norfolk and chanced upon "tens of thousands" of starlings lining the road. As his car slowly approached the flock, he noticed that the birds flew into the air to move out of the way, but immediately returned to the road — "like something out of a Hitchcock film."
