World Mourns Death of US Star Chef, Famous Emmy Award-Winning TV Host Bourdain

The US celebrity chef and television host Anthony Bourdain, the host of CNN's "Parts Unknown" program, the winner of the Emmy Award, has died at the age of 61, the CNN broadcaster confirmed in the statement.

"It is with extraordinary sadness we can confirm the death of our friend and colleague, Anthony Bourdain. His love of great adventure, new friends, fine food and drink and the remarkable stories of the world made him a unique storyteller. His talents never ceased to amaze us and we will miss him very much. Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter and family at this incredibly difficult time," the CNN network said in a statement.

Anthony Bourdain made a professional career as a chef, then hosted a number of programs about cooking and traveling. He started working for CNN in 2013, where he starred in the popular program "unknown places."

Twitter has rushed to mourn and express condolences to "one of a kind" Anthony Bourdain.
