A Boston terrier nicknamed Denis, while walking down the street, saw a statue of a dog peeing. Denis had mistaken the statue for a real dog, ran up to the object and frantically barked at it.

The history of the Boston terrier breed goes back to 1860 when English bulldogs were crossed with English terriers to produce a dog with a small terrier body and a bulldog's head.
