White Silence: Vast Iceberg Breaks Off From Glacier on Greenland

NYU Professor David Holland and his wife Denise Holland, who are researching icebergs with their team, captured on video a rare phenomenon, known as "calving" – a rift of glaciers, which influences significantly on the global sea water levels.

The video shows show a four-mile iceberg breaking off from the glacier, slowly but steadily, in order to begin a solitary voyage in the ocean. Just look; it's nothing but a gigantic bulk of pure ice and cold water- but the view sure is magnificent!
