Videos shared by social media users show the horde of bees making their home on top of an umbrella on the corner of Broadway and West 43rd Street around 2 p.m. Tuesday. The reason the bees decided to swarm that particular hot dog stand has not yet been determined.
Further footage shows a New York Police Department (NYPD) worker wearing protective gear and sucking the bees up using a vacuum device.
