A rare two-headed snake was found by American scientists in North Virginia who were shocked to discover the reptile alive, as the heads of double-headed snakes remain in constant competition with each other, which results in a short lifespan.

In addition, such unusual snakes are extremely prone to be eaten by predators as they find it hard to navigate when evading danger.
