A video captured by a Florida resident shows a 6-foot/2.7-metre alligator crossing a yard into a nearby pond. The reptile quickly ran away from the site, escaping an accidental encounter and hid in the water. According to reports, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation has been contacted to relocate the alligator.
