The rocket was launched at 05:07 a.m. Moscow time (02:07 GMT) as planned.
Russian remote sensing satellites Kanopus-V number five and number six entered the preset orbit, a representative of Russian space agency Roscosmos told Sputnik later.
"The spacecraft have successfully separated from the upper stage," the Roscosmos' representative said.

This was the Russian space program's last launch this year and the 17th launch of spacecraft from Russian cosmodromes in 2018. It was also the fourth ever launch from Vostochny.
