Instagram users all over the world are having trouble sharing new posts to their news feeds, seeing stories and loading content, the Daily Mail reported.

Most users in Europe and some in the Eastern US have reportedly been hit with Instagram app problems.

The First technical failures on Instagram began at about 16:00 Moscow time (13:00 GMT), according to the Downdetector website.

An hour later, netizens reported problems they'd had with Facebook and Snapchat, which also went "down".

Social media users responded on Twitter sharing their discontent with Instagram's malfunction.

People have been complaining about Instagram malfunctions for several months already, with reports about the app being "down" emerging at least once a month.

In May, the Downdetector website reported that 53 percent of Instagram users were experiencing problems with the news feed.

Instagram is a popular online photo-sharing and social network app that lets users take photos, apply filters to them and share them in different ways, including through Twitter and Facebook.
