Subaru introduced several cars at the 2020 Singapore Motor Show, including the updated Impreza and the Viziv Adrenaline Concept. Yet the bright blue vehicle with the seats decked out in leather and suede instantly caught the eye of netizens, standing on a big circle stage featuring its name with the first letters in bright black reading “F*CKS”.
A spokesperson for Subaru of America told Business Insider that the company had no information about the new Forester or the origins of its acronym because the car came from an "independent distributor."
Aside from the head-turning name, Top Gear Philippines reported the car features “striking blue body paint” and red accent lines down the side of the car. The gear-head website also notes the car sits lower to the ground and features blacked-out headlamps.
Netizens were both astonished and pleased by the name. While most YouTube commentators thought that it was a “nice” name, Twitter generally loved the idea.
