The past week was marked by the coronavirus pandemic spreading all over the world and events in different countries, including a cultural festival in Argungu, Nigeria, a protest rally in Kiev, Ukraine, a gas explosion in Lagos, and more. 

Since the outbreak of the coronavirus disease, more than 244,000 people have been infected worldwide, with over 10,000 fatalities, according to John Hopkins University.

The World Health Organisation declared the COVID-19 outbreak a pandemic on 11 March.
