According to the company, the next-gen device will use fast SSD storage, which will make it almost 100x faster than the storage on the PS4, allowing the immediate loading of assets.
"There’s some cool audio work in the show, and it might be harder to appreciate if it's pumped through your phone or laptop speakers", Sony said in an announcement, as it promises to present a first look at the PlayStation 5 games during the event.
