A video shared on Instagram features a black Gibbons, doing his best to show off his screaming skills.

According to scientists, a Gibbons' scream is so strong that it can often be heard up to 1 km away. Such screams are used to attract mates and to demarcate territories.

The song can be used to identify not only which species of gibbon is singing, but also the area from which it comes.
