Expedition 64 Astronauts Perform Spacewalk Outside ISS

Currently, the members of the 64th expedition are operating on the ISS, including Russian cosmonauts Sergey Ryzhikov and Sergey Kud-Sverchkov; US astronauts Kathleen Rubins, Victor Glove, Shannon Walker, and Mike Hopkins; and Japanese astronaut Soichi Noguchi.

Sputnik invites you to the International Space Station, where NASA astronauts Kathleen Rubins and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) astronaut Soichi Noguch, are performing the 72nd spacewalk of expedition 64 at the International Space Station (ISS).

During the spacewalk, which will last more than six hours, Rubins and Noguchi will remove and replace a wireless video transceiver assembly, vent ammonia from the Early Ammonia System and complete some other tasks.​
