Quite a Splash: Diver's Back-Roll Entry Into Water Captured in Slow-Mo

Back-roll entry into the water is typically required of scuba divers when diving from smaller boats. The entry itself is nothing to get excited about, but when the diver is equipped with a slow-mo camera it could be truly an immersive experience.

A diver has uploaded a video of himself on YouTube, in which he plunges into the Gulf of Mexico waters near the port city of Veracruz in Mexico. The diving enthusianst made the so-called back-roll entry, a technique when you sit on the edge of a boat, usually a small one, and allow yourself to fall backwards into the water.

Thanks to his camera, viewers can savour his impressive submersion into the transparent, turquoise water in slow motion.
