A group of revellers at the National Cherry Festival in Traverse City, Michigan, US were given a real scare on 8 July when the Magic Carpet ride almost tipped over.
A video shows people on the ground desperately trying to keep it upright as it continues to rotate wildly. Fortunately, it eventually stopped and no injuries were reported – those onboard were just a little shaken up.
