Navy Day Parade Held in St. Petersburg, Russia

Military parades all over Russia mark the country's Navy Day. The main naval parade will be held in St. Petersburg without spectators because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Sputnik is live from St. Petersburg, Russia, as more than 50 ships, boats, and submarines participate in a naval parade marking the 325th anniversary of the Russian Navy. The aerial part of the parade will include more than 40 aircraft and helicopters.
Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to attend the event.
Ships from the Indian, Pakistani, and Iranian navies will take part in the celebration.
