Not by War Alone: Taliban Enjoy Amusement Park After Taking Control of Afghanistan

The Taliban* took control of Afghanistan's capital Kabul on 15 August and the next day announced that a decades-long war in the country was over. The western-backed government led by President Ghani collapsed and the president himself fled to the United Arab Emirates. This happened while the US troops were evacuating the country according to an earlier signed agreement between Washington and the Taliban. Tens of thousands of Afghan citizens have fled the country for fear of deterioration of the political, social and economic situation in Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the Taliban were busy not just imposing their order across the country, but also finding some time for entertainment.
