Kim Jong-in, better known to his hordes of admirers as Kai, was announced on 14 September as the official ambassador of Seoul Fashion Week Spring 2022, by the city of Seoul.
During Fashion Week, the traditional beauty and history of Korea and its capital, Seoul, will be celebrated and the world will be permitted a glimpse of the thriving metropolis' historical landmarks as the event unfolds at at least 37 different venues.
In March, visitors to Seoul Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2021, were dazzled by the interiors of the the National Museum of Korea and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, which served as the main venues for the extravaganza.
Under the aegis of Seoul's Metropolitan Government, Kai, 27, will work the catwalk as he shows off designs by Korean house BMUET(TE), a rebellious, new romantic designer who pushes the boundaries and will be making its debut at London Fashion Week this year.
Seoul Fashion Week will be held digitally from 7 to 15 October and can be viewed via its official website, on YouTube, domestic streaming app Naver TV, global fan platform VLIVE and - for the first time - on TikTok.
