Russia has denied claims made by Polish President Andrzej Duda related to the crisis on the nation's eastern border. The Russian Foreign Ministry stressed on Wednesday that his accusations against Moscow are completely false, and beyond the pale.
"What we hear from Warsaw is, of course, very surprising. In my opinion, it goes beyond all possible boundaries of decency and common sense. I'm talking about accusations against our country and assessments of the situation [on the border] in general. ...It's impossible to lie just like that", Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated.

/ In recent months, Poland, Latvia, and Lithuania have reported an increase in the number of people trying to illegally cross the border from Belarus, accusing Minsk of using migrants as a "hybrid weapon" against the EU.
