As Perry Como has been telling us every year since 1951. "it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas", and vibrant K-Pop group Stray Kids has risen to this rallying cry by unveiling the first music video teaser for their seasonal song 'Christmas EveL' on 20 November.
In the best tradition of the band, they are coming at their subject matter from a rather dark corner as they have been doing since their pre-debut single in October 2017, 'Hellevator'. In 'Christmas EveL' the eight-member group from the JYP Entertainment stable, have created a relaxing atmosphere with funky styling and jazzy mood.
The new single 'Christmas EveL' was written and composed by the team's production group 3RACHA which consists of three of the band's members - Bang Chan, Changbin and Han. They also prepared another song 'Winter Falls' as a forthcoming double-title song.
Stray Kids were founded only four years ago as the result of a reality survival show and originally consisted of nine members until Woojin left the group for undisclosed reasons in October 2019. In the short time since they were founded, Stray Kids have already achieved more than most bands do in decades, gaining great popularity in Thailand and Japan. This summer they even won survival show 'Kingdom: Legendary War' on Mnet, confirming their appeal to K-Pop lovers.
In August, they unveiled their second album 'Noeasy' which exceeded sales of 1.27 million copies on the domestic Gaon Chart, shooting Stray Kids into the "million-selling artist" category for the first time.
Stray Kids will release their holiday special single album 'Christmas EveL' on 29 November.
