Kim Jong-in, better known to millions of K-Pop aficionados the world over as Kai the founder and main dancer in EXO, has allowed his adoring host of fans to see the new teasers for his new album.
The 27-year-old native of South Jeolla was the first member of nine-strong boy-group EXO to be unveiled by SM Entertainment to an admiring world on 23 December 2011 - and what a time it has been. During almost exactly a decade, Kai has been showered with plaudits, made something of a career for himself as an actor in such critically acclaimed dramas as 'Choco Bank' and 'Spring Has Come', and is now branching out as a soloist of profound sensuality.
'Peaches' is Kai's second album - a follow up to his first album 'Kai' launched on 30 November 2020. It comprises six songs, including the title song which has been written as a medium-tempo R&B ballad with an addictive melody and heavy 808 bass.
The music video for 'Mmmh', the lead single on 'Kai', quickly exceeded 100 million views on YouTube after its release and K-Pop fans globally gave the song a most enthusiastic welcome having been overcome by Kai's stupendous skills as a dancer and his unparalleled charisma.
'Peaches' will be released to coincide with the first anniversary of the launch of 'Kai' - on 30 November.
