All new videos released on the personal YouTube account of Byun Baek-hyun, better known to his millions of adoring fans as Baekhyun, have been restored as of 17 December.
The superstar, one of the nine members of SM Entertainment's EXO, began military service in May and has therefore presented his fans with a gift for the long months of his absence from show business via 'KyoongTube' - his own YouTube channel.
Baekhyun had pre-recorded a number of videos and arranged that they should be uploaded to his personal channel each month since his enlistment in May. This was done by SM Entertainment until the management organisation decided to remove all videos because of a misunderstanding - according to Korean law, citizens are not allowed to receive a private income when they are serving their mandatory military service.
Despite the fact that the videos were made by Baekhyun before his enlistment, there can be problems in the future. SM Entertainment decided therefore not to take the risk leaving fans of Baekhyun and EXO - officially known as EXO-Ls - in a state of abject despair.
But now that the videos have returned to EXO's official channel, fans have tempered justice with mercy.
