20 January 2022 is Penguin Awareness Day - when we celebrate those awesome birds! They are plump and cute, and they are definitely among the most adorable creatures in the world - just look at them walking together or socialising! These creatures can withstand extremely low temperatures, meaning they can survive the harshest frost - and also melt any heart!

The two released penguins just spent time at Sydney's Taronga Zoo Wildlife Hospital after being found at different beaches along the New South Wales coastline, with one found stranded in seaweed. Taronga Zoo Wildlife Hospital treats about 30 penguins annually.
