On 12 February, Warner Bros released a new 60-second clip showcasing all of the DC movies made to date under the title "The World Needs Heroes." The video also includes a sneak peek of upcoming superhero movies fans can expect later this year.
One movie set to be released in 2022 is "Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom" starring Jason Momoa. His voice can be heard asking "What could be greater than a king?" in the clip. The actor, who plays Aquaman, is also sporting the new dark blue stealth suit that both he and director James Wan first revealed in September last year.
The cast of the new Aquaman includes Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko, Patrick Wilson as Ocean Master, Nicole Kidman as Atlanna, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta. However, none of these characters feature in the trailer.
Aquaman 2: The Lost Kingdom is set to be released on 16 December 2022.
