Russian exhibitors have presented cutting-edge oil and gas technology, including rigs for deep operational and exploratory drilling, pipes for the oil and gas sector, ball valves, power drives, among others, at the International Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan OGU - 2022 Exhibition.
"Russian high-tech products for the oil and gas sector are in demand all over the world”, said Veronika Nikishina, director general of the Russian Export Center (REC) .
“Today, our companies present the best developments in this area that domestic manufacturers are ready to offer to our foreign partners. I am sure that the International Oil and Gas of Uzbekistan OGU – 2022 Exhibition will become an effective platform for a business dialogue and will become the basis for further cooperation and strengthening positions in the global market”, she continued.
Uzbekistan's First Deputy Minister of Energy Azim Akhmedkhodzhaev has already visited the "Made in Russia" exhibition, as well as representatives of the Uztransgaz company, which ranks 11th in global natural gas production and is the largest state-owned company in Uzbekistan. Russian exhibitors are due to hold dozens of business meetings and discussions within the framework of the international exhibition.
According to Dmitry Voloshin, head of the foreign economic activity department of Velan, which is the largest Russian manufacturer of explosion-proof electrical equipment, such events have not been held in Uzbekistan for several years, prompting expectations of catch-up demand.
