DPRK has intensified its launches of ballistic missiles and other projectiles in 2022. Since the beginning of the year, Pyongyang has carried out at least 18 missile tests, some of them reportedly using hypersonic weapons.
According to North Korean state media, the nation also tested a "new-type tactical guided weapon" earlier this year, saying it would strengthen the country’s "tactical nuclear operation".
