Floods and Landslides in India Leave Dozens Dead

The worst-hit regions include the states of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand, with the India Meteorological Department (IMD) issuing heavy rainfall warnings in parts of Gujarat until 24 August.

India has been hit with heavy rains, floods and landslides. The death toll from flood-related incidents has risen to 50, according to the latest figures provided by the country's authorities.
More heavy rainfall is forecast for the next two days, as the emergency services are conducting search and rescue operations in remote areas.
