"Many countries in Africa criticize western policies, and any anti-western statement reflects their strong dissatisfaction with their dependent and unequal position," she underlines, adding that "China operates on the principle of non-intervention... China does not condition its aid politically."
"Chinese aid projects primarily concern agriculture, industry, infrastructure building, public facilities, education development, healthcare, and climate initiatives. China is focused on helping recipient countries to improve their industrial and agricultural production potential and strengthen the foundations of economic and social development," she says, adding: "Furthermore, China's priority in giving aid to Africa is for the continent to set developmental goals without imposing any conditions. This Chinese concept is fundamentally different from the western model."
