'This is Ridiculous': US Plant Refuses to Fulfill Balloon Order With Call to 'End Siege' of Gaza

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) - The US peace advocacy group CodePink said that a plant in the United States had refused to fulfill the peace group’s order to produce balloons with a call to stop the siege of the Gaza Strip.

"We ordered balloons that read ‘End the siege on Gaza’ and the production plant refused to print them," CodePink said via X, formerly known as Twitter.
CodePink characterized the plant's conduct as "ridiculous."
Images shared by the group included a screenshots by the company behind the balloon order, which revealed the order was blocked by the balloon producer, not the company that accepted the order itself.
"While we disagree with the decision, I just got word that the production plant is declining to print this," the email response states. "Initially, it was scheduled but someone along the line decided against it."
Last week, CodePink member Leslie Angeline went on a hunger strike to protest the military actions against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and elsewhere in Israel.
Angeline vowed to visit US lawmaker offices to encourage them to sign the Ceasefire Now Resolution, which was introduced by a group of Democrats in the US House of Representatives.
The latest comes as reports have indicated that the Israeli government is considering undertaking a ground operation in the near future to counteract against actions by Hamas.
