The ministry said Ukraine's attempt to carry out a terrorist attack using aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles on targets in Russia was stopped at night.
“Air defense systems on duty intercepted and destroyed 12 Ukrainian UAVs over the territories of the Kursk (3), Tambov (3), Belgorod (2), Bryansk (1), Lipetsk (1) regions, the Republic of Mordovia (2),” it said.
