Hezbollah: Attacks on IDF in Posts Affirmed "Balance Of Deterrence"- Reports

Earlier, Israel has attacked alleged Iranian positions in Syria, having launched dozens of missiles in retaliation for a purported bombardment conducted by Tehran.

According to Hezbollah's al-Manar TV reports, the attacks on Israeli positions in the Golan Heights last week had affirmed "the balance of deterrence" between Israel and its rivals.

Also, Hezbollah dismissed Washington's decision to move the US embassy to Jerusalem as a "worthless" unilateral step.

'Israel’s Conflict With Iran in Syria Not Linked With Nuclear Deal'- Analyst
Israel Defense Forces warplanes raided alleged Iranian positions in Syria, firing dozens of rockets into the Syrian territory in response to a barrage of Iranian rockets. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, 28 Israeli F-15 and F-16 fighter jets carried out the strikes, with more than 60 air-to-ground missiles fired over several parts of Syria, half of them being downed. Israel also fired more than 10 tactical ground-to-ground missiles.

Iranian National Security and Foreign Policy Parliament's Committee said that Tehran had nothing to do with airstrikes on Israel.

Russia said that the situation with the Israeli attack in Syria raised concerns and called on all parties for restraint.
