Belgium's air traffic operator, Belgocontrol, reported that the problem was solved and air traffic restored after flight space over Belgium had been closed due to a computer malfunction, which affected a flight data processing system.

Brussels Airlines reported that a flight from Moscow was the first plane to successfully land in the Belgian capital after the closure of the country's airspace.
