Cyberattack Stops New Cable Car Line in Moscow

MOSCOW (Sputnik) - A recently-launched cable car service in Moscow was stopped on Wednesday after a cyberattack on its computers, the aerial line’s press office told Sputnik.

'The server network running the Moscow Cable Car came under a cyberattack at 2 p.m. [11:00 GMT] today. After it was detected, employees stopped the line and evacuated passengers at disembarkation points', the aerial line’s press office said.

Russian Armed Forces Take Measures of Protection Against Cyberattacks
The line connects the historic Sparrow Hills on the right bank of the Moskva River with the national stadium, Luzhniki, on the left bank. It was launched by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin on Monday.
