WATCH Ashes Erupt From Italy's Mount Etna, Closing Sicily's Catania Airport

An earthquake on the island of Sicily has resulted in ash spewing out of the volcano Etna. A series of 130 aftershocks were recorded by Italian scientists on the morning of 24 December.

After an earthquake, a crack appeared on the volcano, from which ash was released.

In connection with this, the operation of the airport of the nearby city of Catania was partially limited. At the moment, the eruption poses no danger.
