Rescue Helicopter Crashes in UAE, All Crew Dead - Reports

DUBAI (Sputnik) - A rescue helicopter crashed while on duty on Saturday in the United Arab Emirate, killing all four crew members on board, state media said.

The accident took place at 5:50 p.m. local time (13:50 GMT) not far from Jebel Jais Mountain in the country's emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, the Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported.

Two pilots, a navigator and a first aid man were killed in the crash, the agency cited the National Search and Rescue Center as saying.

The UAE authorities have launched a probe into the air disaster.
