An Australian fisherman's attempt at catch-and-release did not go quite as planned after an eagle swooped down and scooped up the freshly freed fish.

PETA says that "fish who are caught and then returned to the water suffer such severe physiological stress that they often die of shock, or their injuries may make them easy targets for predators," so, in a way, the fisherman simply made the eagle's job a little easier.
