On 23 February, a Boeing 767 cargo plane belonging to Atlas Air, carrying three people, crashed. The twin-engine aircraft was en route from Miami (Florida) to George Bush International Airport in Houston (Texas). For unclear reasons, the aircraft fell into the waters of Trinity Bay Bay near the village of Anouac. The US Federal Aviation Administration has begun an investigation.
