Bridenstine is detailing the future mission to the moon at the Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne. The lunar exploration plan, dubbed Artemis, stipulates 37 launches of private and NASA rockets, as well as the construction of robotic and human landers.
The address follows a March statement by US Vice President Mike Pence, who said that NASA has to return to the Moon by 2024.
