Russian President Vladimir Putin is answering questions on various topics posed by Russian citizens during the annual "Direct Line" Q&A event, which is taking place this Thursday in Moscow.
This year's session will mark the 17th time the president has answered questions posed by Russian citizens on air. President Putin held the first "Direct Line" in December 2001 early in his first presidential term. The event is now held annually. Last year's event had a record duration of four hours and twenty minutes.
