The son of UAE's Emir of Sharjah, Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi has died in London, The Sun reported.
"President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan mourns with grief and sorrow, the death of Sheikh Khalid Bin Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the son of the Ruler of Sharjah, praying to Allah the Almighty to rest his soul in peace, and grant his family patience and solace", the UAE's Ministry of Presidential Affairs said in a statement.
Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi has also announced his youngest son's death on Instagram, posting the statement from the Ruler's Court with a black and white photo of Khalid Qasimi.
"Sheikh Khalid bin Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi is in the care of God", the post read.
According to reports, three days of mourning have been declared in the emirate and flags have been ordered to fly at half mast.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi was reportedly found on the floor of his bathroom at his home in East Grinstead, England.
His father, Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi has ruled the Emirate of Sharjah since 1972.
The London-based fashion designer has lived in the UK since he was nine, according to the information from the Qasimi brand website.
