5.8-Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Southwestern Turkey - Report

A 5.8-magnitude quake has hit southwestern Turkey, 52 km to the east of Denizli, the United States Geological Survey has reported.

According to Turkey's earthquake observatory, this was a 6.5-magnitude quake. The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency said the quake was centred on the town of Bozkurt, in Denizli province.

​A user uploaded a video of her ceiling lamp shaking. 

​The Kandilli Observatory said the quake took place 10 km underground. No casualties or damage have so far been reported.
