Indian Chandrayaan-2 Space Mission Due to Reach the Lunar Surface

The lander was put on a separate, circular path identical to the Orbiter passing over the lunar poles at a distance of roughly 100 kilometres from its surface.

However, during landing the signal from the lander was lost at the altitude approximately 2.1 kilometres from the surface. The mission control added that the data is being analysed.

After landing, the moon lander Vikram had to deploy three science instruments and a moon rover.
