Two men were killed and one woman injured after a grenade exploded in downtown Kiev on Tuesday night, local media reported.
"Pushkinskaya street, near 'Prorok' cafe. An explosion took place here. According to preliminary data, a grenade exploded," the report says.
Police and ambulance are on the scene and an investigation is underway, according to reports. The injured woman has been hospitalized.
Eyewitnesses told reporters that the explosion took place as two young men "played around" with a hand grenade next to the cafe. One man appeared to be dressed as a militia member, witnesses said, according to the report.
